Overview:
Ultrasound is an imaging modality that uses high frequency sound waves to record images from inside of the human body in real time. Both diagnostic and interventional ultrasound guided procedures are performed by our Radiologists. At our Out-Patient Imaging centers, you will receive a one-on-one exam with one of the specialty trained and experienced Ultrasound technologists. After your exam is complete, one of our Radiologists will interpret your study and report the findings to your referring physician usually within 48 hours. RSD provides subspecialty expertise in the area of Abdominal and Pelvic, Obstetrical, Pediatric, and Musculoskeletal Imaging.
